The AUW oil protector is a collection system for refrigeration and air conditioning systems installed on top of it and, in accordance with legal requirements, prevents oils of water hazard classes one to three (WGK1-WGK3) that have run into the protector from being flushed out when it rains. Oils in the AUW oil protector are retained by an integrated oil separator. The AUW oil protector thus fulfills the requirements of § 62 gff. of the WHG (Water Resources Act). The AUW is also suitable for other machines and devices that are filled with oil and are set up outside.
The AUW oil protector is available in ten standard sizes.

The extra-wide mounts enable installation on support beams, vibration dampers and wall brackets.The AUW oil protector is a safety system made of aluminum AlMg3 with a material thickness of 1.5 mm. It is manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 573/585, quarter-hard H12/22, EN AW-5754. The AUW oil protector differs from the CUW oil protector mainly in terms of the material. It is made of aluminum instead of stainless steel. This inexpensive material is just as corrosion-resistant, but considerably lighter. This also provides advantages in terms of logistics.
